In case you didn't know, these are the stages of redeployment:

Stage 1: Hurry up and Wait (Travel portion. Bring snacks and patience)

Stage 2: Family Reunion (Family is Home. Bring snacks and tissues)

Stage 3: Decompress (Downtime. Bring snacks and books)

Stage 4: Reflect (A time of thanks. Bring snacks and thank you letters)

In the past 6 months, I worked with amazing people, faced difficult conversations, and navigated the environment with COVID19. A few weeks ago I was exposed and sent to quarantine in the AOR...let's just say quarantine at home with your husband, dog, snacks, workout gear, and more than 3 feet outside is a more appealing location!

My Kuwait deployment can be summed up in one word: Growth. Thank you for being there for me as I went through a tremendous growth spurt. Catching up with each of you, it seems this is a year of growth for just about everyone. I am praying for you each as you continue to grow and face challenges.
